Company description
A group of companies with a traditional focus and originally operating in the wood processing industry separated from the manufacturing component and focused on the energy sector – the use of renewable energy sources. The group’s portfolio also includes the rental of its own real estate, facility management and its own hotel. The main component of the business, however, is the operation of its own power plant for the combustion of wood chips, or the search for and construction of other sources of green energy production, also in the form of international cooperation.
Original state
The company has high quality in-house staff who ensure the actual operation of the company, from day-to-day activities and operations to the management and design of new projects. Most of the activities are handled internally and the staffing policy also takes advantage of the capabilities and experience of staff who have been part of the Group in the past. The management of the company and its internal structure is relatively simple and mostly relies on the person of the CEO.
After implementation
ETL EAST initially began working with the client only on the implementation of the power plant conversion project. At this stage, it was involved in securing European funding of EUR 6 million and also worked closely with the selection of contractors and the management of the project as a whole. A further EUR 1.6 million was secured for the company in research and development projects. Currently, the Group provides management and consulting services to the client, participates in the search for new investment opportunities and the preparation of further investment projects. ETL EAST also assists in international operations and forms a kind of bridge for foreign cooperation.
